A business leader has an issue they want to resolve. A team has a new dynamic they’re trying to work through. A project is having trouble getting started and need help brainstorming solutions.
But what happens then? We’ve all sat through boring presentations that cover the facts without connecting the dots.
For me, facilitating means finding a way to present information in a way that is engaging, fun, easy to absorb, and has a strong takeaway.

BeatBox Beverages leveraged Culture Index as a key part of personnel planning but didn’t really leverage it after that. I found ways to leverage Culture Index survey as an indicator metric for manager performance and further worked with teams to build custom Culture Index workshops to help teammates understand each other’s working styles and think of ways that they can better collaborate with other personality types on their own teams and other ones.
Tandem was an online coaching platform that sought to match startup veterans with up-and-comers seeking coaching and guidance from those who had been there before. As an advisor to the founder, my role was both to provide market insight for company development as well as to partner with her to create learning material to share in webinars to grow inbound leads for the business.
BeatBox experienced tremendous growth in terms of headcount, team capability, and revenue between 2020 and 2025. In an effort to better connect teammates with each other, introduce new functional units, and also share knowledge of key systems, I created BeatBox Unplugged as a virtual peer-to-peer learning event in which attendees could attend sessions about key company info or tools, lead by subject matter experts within the business and hosted by the L&D team.
